CY Headjoint

Featuring a double flare taper and an undercut embouchure hole design for excellent response and a rich tone, the CY headjoint helps beginners quickly learn to produce a beautiful sound. More advanced players will appreciate its quick and consistent response across all registers.

Keys

All key shapes and placements have been ergonomically designed to ensure a comfortable, natural playing experience. The manufacturing processes have been completely overhauled to achieve significantly improved precision, enhancing mechanical accuracy and reducing the need for readjustments over time.

Pointed Key Arms

A#, F# and other non-fingered keys feature pointed key arms. This beautiful key design is inspired by traditional European style.

Adjustment Screws

Unique Yamaha screw resistance inserts allow smooth adjustments while preventing gradual loosening of the screws. The screw position has been changed for easier access.

Alignment Marks

Footjoint alignment marks facilitate proper fitting by young players.

Curved Headjoint (FHJ-200U)

An optional curved headjoint makes it easier for smaller players to hold and play the flute. It comes with a convenient carrying case that accommodates both the headjoint and the flute itself.
