Biography

Justin Foley is the drummer for the Gold Album-Selling, Grammy-Nominated metal/hard rock band Killswitch Engage. He has appeared on KsE's The End of Heartache (Grammy nominated, Certified Gold), As Daylight Dies (Certified Gold), and the self titled 2009 Killswitch Engage. He was also a member of Blood Has Been Shed and tracked 2003's "Spirals" release, and recorded all the drums for Unearth's latest release "Darkness In The Light". Justin contributed to Drum Nation Volume 3 and has been featured in major drummer magazines such as Modern Drummer, Drummer UK and Drum!. He has appeared on well known tours such as Ozzfest, Mayhem, Taste of Chaos, Warped Tour, Soundwave, as well as playing the main stages of some of the biggest and most well known festivals in the world including Download, Wacken, and Loud Park.

Justin is classically trained with a bachelors in fine arts from The University of Connecticut and a masters from the prestigious Hartt School of Music. He was a freelance orchestral musician with various Connecticut symphony orchestras including Waterbury Symphony and New Britain Symphony. He just recently received the coveted fine arts alumni of the year award from The University of Connecticut.

HS-1200D

The HS-1200D is a two-legged hi hat with a direct pull drive. The direct pull drive feels gives a strong, even feel all the way through the stroke, great for players that need a strong, powerful hi hat. The HS-1200D has adjustments for spring tension and footboard height, and the narrow footboard makes it easier to fit in multiple pedals. The new cymbal seat has a self-locking angle adjustment and reversible felt/rubber washer. The HS-1200D ships with pull rods of two different lengths so that you can set the cymbal height to fit your style. The locking clutch has also been redesigned with stronger locking rings.

SS-950

The SS-950 has a new centered ball and socket tilter that allows almost limitless angle adjustment. The location of the tilter also allows the full power of each stroke since the force is driven straight into the vertical tube. The basket can be quickly detached from the vertical tube by loosening a single wing nut, allowing for compact storage or quick snare drum changes at a gig. The new three-arm basket design allows the SS-950 to sit almost 2" lower than the previous model.
